The area Selva Romantica (literally meaning romantic forest or jungle) is a small residential area set in the dramatic hillside of old town Puerto Vallarta. Easily accessible by foot or car, it is nestled in the hillside overlooking the stunningly beautiful Banderas Bay and Pto Vallarta.

Quiet yet central, this intimate and tastefully decorated 2 bedroom penthouse has the kind of detail you would expect from owners who have passion! Handmade tiles, handmade beds, handmade Parota wood doors and closets, everything bespoke and simply saturated in quality and fine detail! All rooms have mini split aircon and fans.

High-beamed ceilings, natural clay tiled surrounds and eclectic furnishings combine to ensure Selva Romantica delivers its promises. Lushly appointed private ensuite bathrooms with walk-in double showers and the latest in ceramic finishes combine with queen-sized wrought iron beds (yes – you guessed it - also locally handmade!) ensure you have a luxuriously romantic stay with all “mod cons”.

Our guests can enjoy the tropical landscaped garden and outdoor kitchen/bbq area; the infinity pool with random water shower spray; the small but well-equipped gym, and the cool shady palapa, all of which form part of the select communal area.

Inside the apartment you will find high quality hardwood French doors and windows opening out onto the most spectacular vistas. Day or night you will be stunned by the views. Overlooking the landmark Church of our Lady with its distinctive golden crown, with views of the bay, the port housing its luxury liners, this apartment allows you to choose whether to sip a cocktail or two on your private terrace and watch the sunset go down, or simply people-watch in this fashionable area of town.

Most evenings there are short but spectacular firework displays over the bay which light up the area around, the sound reverberating to dramatic effect to herald the close of the day.

We stress however that the area where this apartment is located is quiet and not in the hub of the noise of night life.

At the foot of the hill is Basilio Badilio – one of the town’s most exclusive shopping and dining areas (and great fun to pronounce!) A host of high-class restaurants, bars and night clubs are at your disposal and a good beach area with its daytime cafes and seafood restaurants. It is a very popular haunt with young and old alike.

NEW MEET AND GREET SERVICE

We are happy to help you get to your destination within the Banderas Bay area wherever possible.

If you need meeting at the airport or at your accommodation simply email us on
info@casadalipartnership.com and we will advise you of availability and cost.

If you wish to be met because you are staying at one of our private accommodations, include this on your booking form, giving details of your flight number, time of arrival, how many adults and children in your party and we will be there to meet you.

Normally there will be no charge for this service if it is within the hours of 0900 to 2200 hrs. If you have a preference to be greeted by a Spanish or English speaking representative from our company please also indicate this at the time and we will try and accommodate your request. Whoever meets you will ensure you are safely at your accommodation and will answer any questions you may have.

Travelling time from the airport to any of our accommodation is no more than 40 minutes (to la Cruz) and approx 20 minutes elsewhere, depending on the time of day.
