About Us
Still in our 40's and working in our own business the search for a place that is affordable, safe and offers everything we want led us to Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific coast of Mexico.
Since our honeymoon there in the mid 1990s we have grown to love and respect Puerto Vallarta for the marvellously friendly and spiritual place it is. Our current Mexican chimenea business (started in 1999) was born out of inspiration for this country and we have returned year after year. We then reached the point that we decided it was time to make more of a commitment and actually buy our own place.
We had not been in the property business before and had never invested in bricks and mortar abroad. We - like many other people - were a bit put off by stories of the losses some unfortunate families made when trying to buy second homes or retirement properties in countries abroad.
Nothing in life is ever totally straight forward and we know that good professional advice and help is worth its weight in gold. We have made a few mistakes along the way but are now the proud owners of a super penthouse in a beautiful marina setting in Nuevo Vallarta's thriving residential community. Every amenity you would want is there already, or if not - it is coming! The charm of a small and personal development gives a sense of security whilst retaining character and this is where we decided to go.
We were the first people to buy an apartment at Marina Delfines and have been happy to recommend the company to investors whilst we have been in Mexico earlier this year. Unlike other experiences we have had, this apartment "over-delivered" and we love it!
